Yuba Lake's warm waters and sandy beaches are ideal for various water activities, including boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, and personal watercraft use like jet skis and wave runners . The park features two boat ramps: Oasis and Painted Rocks, both equipped with docks for easy access .

Yuba Lake boasts some of the darkest skies in Utah, with minimal light pollution, allowing for clear views of the stars.. Sandy Beach's remote location and high elevation contribute to its excellent visibility. Visitors can enjoy a dazzling display of stars, planets, and the Milky Way stretching across the night sky.

ATV/dirt bike trails
Yuba State Park offers hundreds of miles of ATV trails, and a makeshift motocross track. There are rentals available at the state park.
